We usually just split a pizza. I wish they had more salad dressing options, though! Or maybe a separate kids menu? In time, perhaps.

Gateway to India is great! I love both those dishes (actually, the mushroom masala wala is my favorite). The owners are really friendly too.

The addition of Daiya at Donnie's is very recent - maybe in the last 2-3 weeks. I went practically every Saturday in December because a friend of mine had told me they were getting it. They finally had it about 2 weeks ago!Miss Lexyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01616480521438166017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7729886623213766434.post-3047500083890606352013-01-19T14:38:49.771-06:002013-01-19T14:38:49.771-06:00Great tips about eating vegan in Springfield. My ...Great tips about eating vegan in Springfield. My favorite places to eat vegan are Osaka (avocado and cucumber sushi are my regulars) and Gateway to India. I love that Gateway will practically make anything vegan upon request. I recently tried the almond veggies and mushroom masala wala and both were excellent. I've heard about Donnie's and saw there menu and have been wanting to try it out. I had no idea they were carrying Daiya now so it's a must try now. The variety of food is great to please everyone's tastes and preferances and their entertainment (music, art shows, and I think they may have had some comedy) provides a great opportunity for family fun in addition to dinner. : )waterbearervalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05457370319033975116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7729886623213766434.post-17122308543793663372012-12-24T21:29:20.167-06:002012-12-24T21:29:20.167-06:00This was a fantastic salad! I make it about once a month and that provides enough for my son to have for sandwiches every day for school. It freezes so well and is easy to make. I had to make an extra batch this weekend and we had it on open face sandwiches with white gravy. Very tasty and very filling. Very nice flavor, no strong vinegar taste either. With the first batch I doubled the veggies and filled ten half pint jars. I used serrano peppers out of my garden, they are 1-1/2 inches long and pertty hot, I used ten peppers the first batch, the flavor had just a slight hint of heat. The second batch I again doubled the veggies but this time I used thirty peppers, that should bring up the heat.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08510051936884920624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7729886623213766434.post-69490644002476058202012-07-27T17:01:08.948-05:002012-07-27T17:01:08.948-05:00I was googling for vegan yeast cheese sauce, your ...I was googling for vegan yeast cheese sauce, your site came up and low and behold a horseshoe posting. lol
I lived in Spfld in the 90's and was explaning a horseshoe just the other day to someone.
Thanks for the good memories and hopefully good cheze sauce.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7729886623213766434.post-4735148856971651782012-07-27T02:18:33.539-05:002012-07-27T02:18:33.539-05:00Hey great stuff nice info your passing on
